Most of our meals were enjoyed at Dry Rocks and the pool bar. I’m a beach lover and I wanted to have my feet in the sand as much as possible. Calusa is an elegant dining experience with breathtaking views.

I loved how calm the Florida Bay felt and took up residency on a large floating lounger. I might have stayed out in the sunshine forever if not for a fruity pina colada that called my name. Oh wait, maybe the was my husband 🙂

- Kayaking
- Snorkeling
- Jet ski rentals

Couples will love the quiet places to relax and reconnect. Families? There is plenty of all-day fun for them too. Hilton Baker’s Cay Resort has something for everyone.
Speaking of quiet places, be sure to grab a lounge chair or hammock. Hilton Baker’s Cay Resort in Key Largo has a special beach named Hammock Beach. Under the shade of swaying trees, guests can get away from it all. Hammock Beach is a great place to bring a book.
Pools for Adults & Families
I’ll be honest, the pool area at Baker’s Cay did not blow me away like the rest of the resort. I did appreciate that there was a separate family pool from the adults-only pool. It’s a small detail, but it does help so that everyone can relax their way. There wasn’t anything wrong with the pool area, it just felt a little underwhelming compared to the rest of this luxury resort.
My Favorite Moment? Floating in the Bay
One unexpected highlight: drifting on a giant float in the calm waters of the bay. It was the perfect way to unwind and be fully relaxed. I didn’t snap a good photo—but maybe that’s the point. Some moments are just for you.

Conclusion to my Baker’s Cay Resort Key Largo review:
Baker’s Cay is truly one of my favorite luxury resorts in the Florida Keys. Set on the sparkling waters of the Florida Bay, this resort has everything you need for a relaxing escape. It’s not all-inclusive, but we never felt the need to leave the property. The only letdown was the pool area, which seemed to lack the magic of the rest of the property. On the flip side, the food and dining options were outstanding.
